COVID UPDATES

We have put in protocols for the safety of our clients and staff. All employees and customers must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth. Please maintain the six-foot physical distancing requirements. We are using shields between customers and clerks at service counters & also providing a curbside pick-up service for retail purchases.

Our lobby is open for retail. If interested in our curb side orders, please call and one of our receptionist can help you place an order. All orders must be paid over the phone and will be left on our curb side pick up table outside our lobby door.

TEMPORARY GROOMING PROTOCOLS

Since our lobby is still closed for drop off and pick ups, all grooming drop offs and pick ups will be at the designated grooming entrance/exit.

The governor has announced that all grooming is to be done curbside. At the exact scheduled appointment time your groomer will be waiting outside for your pet. Please make sure you arrive 5 minutes prior and take your pet for a walk on the grass near the generator to relieve themselves. Please call if you are going to be late, if more than 10 minutes late your groomer will not be able to accommodate you and you will be asked to reschedule.

  • Upon check in, your groomer will be wearing a smock, mask, gloves and possibly eye protection. This may cause your pet to react skittishly, but we assure you after a few minutes they will realize it is their groomer and come around.
  • Your groomer will put their slip noose on your dog and ask you to take off their collar and leash and take it home with you (please remember to bring it back).
  • Immediately after check-in, your dog will be placed into the tub to be washed and the groomer will change their smock, gloves and wash slip noose.
  • The Tub will be sanitized after every bath as well as our tables, tools, crates, dryers, and all surfaces. After your pet is finished, the groomer will change their mask and wash their hands before servicing the next pet.
  • Once your pet is completed you will receive a text and call. At this time, you can choose to pay over the phone with credit card or be given the total. We will accept cash and check but will be unable to make change, so please use exact change if paying with cash.
  • At pickup you can call and one of Emma Marie’s team members will bring out your pet. We will keep our slip noose on them until they have their collar and leash on.

Drop Off

  • Wait until area is clear before entering
  • Lift latch closest to you and pull
  • Secure latch/gate behind you
  • Remove your dog’s collar and leash
  • Wait for employee to let dog through white fence door
  • Bring all of your dog’s belongings home with you. No leashes, collars, food, blanket, jackets, etc.
  • Please call to pay prior to pick up

Pick Up

  • Please have your dog’s collar and leash with you
  • Wait for area to be clear before entering
  • Ring doorbell for service
  • Lift latch closest to you and pull
  • Secure latch/gate behind you
  • Wait for employee to let your dog into airlock area
  • Secure your dog with collar and leash
  • Exit through gate and latch gate behind you

Temporary Boarding Protocols

Since our lobby is still closed for drop off and pick ups, all boarding drop offs and pick ups will be at the designated daycare entrance/exit. See instructions above to properly drop off your dog.
  • Please remove your dog’s collar, leash and/or harness when dropping them off and remember to bring it back for their scheduled pick up date.
  • All boarding drop offs are Monday through Friday 6:30AM – 9AM. All dogs must be in by 9AM.
  • All boarding pick ups are Monday through Friday 9AM – 11AM or 4PM – 6PM. If your dog is scheduled for a 4PM-6PM pick up, there will be an additional charge per dog.
  • Please only pack your dog’s pre-portioned meals and if needed, medication. We have bedding, toys & treats that we can supply them with while they’re here with us.
  • There will be a designated bin with your dog’s name on it under the curbside pick up table at the main entrance door. Please place pre-portioned bags of food and any medications in your dog’s bin.
  • You will receive a phone call a few days before your scheduled check in to go over your dog’s feeding instructions & any questions you may have.
  • Payments can be made with cash, check or over the phone with credit/debit cards. If paying in cash, it must be the exact amount as we are unable to provide any change at this time.
